Just got in.  I was listening on the radio and thought about our conversation.  It sounded solid on the XM.

At this point, if the slump is over, then we should both be tapdancing around our respective abodes.

How much do you think it costs to sponsor the pitch tracker?

Expect a rain delay around 8:00-8:15 at the latest.  It's already getting nasty in Manassas.

I have the late schedule for my basketball team's practice tonight 9-10:30.  So, I want to throw a trivia question out early.  Try not to cheat and look this up.  Royals manager Ned Yost got his last major league hit for what team?

Rain Delay? Aw, man.  These are the games I can watch in HD.  (Albeit on Fox Sports Kansas City.)

I just had a cool stat research idea. I'll do it during innings and post it up.

I'm going to assume there is some connection, and say the Expos

How about the Kansas City A's?  Is Yost that old?

That inning sucked. At least Zim and Hammer had really good AB's

It was way too obscure. Where do you come up with these interesting factoids?

I don't even think he's 60 yet. Did the A's move to Oakland in the 60's or 70's?

Verlander has already given up two runs to the Mets, in the 1st.

I keep thinking they are going to come back to Earth. I don't think their team is that strong, but I can't explain their success either.

They're pretty good, actually.  Adding Bay and having Reyes healthy has really helped them.  Davis is going to be a beast and Pagan has been more than an adequate replacement for Beltran.  What I didn't count on was Maine and Niese being as solid in their rotation as they are.  I think they could be in it for a while.

Bay has been horrible. They are getting wins from guys like Niese and RA Dickey. I think the Nats are a better team on paper
