The Lerners are already counting the loot. I'm sure they'll leak several "possible" start dates.

I remember in the run-up to his debut last year a rumour went round that he'd debut on Friday 4th June against Cincinnati (four days before his actual debut) - announced attendance for that Reds match was 33,774.

Every pitcher shakes his arm. Its actually recommended as it increases blood flow to the muscles.

Johnny ... we don't have anyone who can pitch today. We sort of need you to get through the sixth

He is fine.

Of course.

I think he did. Nevertheless, don't be sweating that type of crap. That was probably tweeted to make people nervous.

I feel like I've seen that AB before... I can't remember the last time Morse was in a 0 for 3 slump!

He wants to end his chances of winning the batting title, today.

Pirates' losing streak now at 10...lost 7-3 to Padres.

Allowing 35 runs in three home matches against the Hitless Wonders...just embarrassing.

At the risk of tempting fate: Rockies have been shut out at home only twice this season:

29th April vs Pirates (Correia, Veras, Resop, Hanrahan), 3-nil
2nd August vs Phillies (Kendrick, Herndon), 5-nil

I guess you bunt b/c Flores may not be able to score on a single from 2nd. But I guess he was faking.

He was. Bad overreaction on my part.
