he was a .275 hitter before the last couple of years that would still be a nice addition to the team. the improvement in the last couple of years is due to a babip spike. his line drive percentage is also up very slightly (0.6% over his career avg in 2011 and 2.1% over his career avg this year). All that means is he is squaring the ball up more, which has nothing to do with roids. It's when those balls that he sqaures upstart going farther and farther that you can point to PEDs as the reason.
