I'm sorry that Chuck Brown's "Bustin' Loose" has not caught on consistently as between-inning music. The crackers in the stands seem to prefer the insipid "Sweet Caroline." I guess I should just be glad that we don't have to listen to "Thank God I'm a Country Boy."

Bustin' Loose is used often, but not at consistent times. It is certainly the most appropriate toon to play at the games.

Remember when they used to do "the ushers are bustin loose" on top of the dugout? It didn't go well with the demographic

I disagree, I thought it went over well all the times they played the song. The playing of the song Heart was always a disaster.

if I ever hear "crank dat soulja boy" in Nationals Park, I'm going to run upstairs and strangle the Nats Sound manager though.

den super man dat hoe
now watch me youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

 :pimp:

get ready to go on a strangling spree. crank dat is never gonna die. i'm still not sick of it after hearing it a million times.  nfl players are still doing the dance with regularity and it's going to continue. maybe it'll fade by time april rolls around but i highly doubt it.

LOL That's hilarious. I'm not sure what "super man dat hoe" means but I'd be willing to bet that the "hoes" are more likely to "super man" AZ.

What does "super man dat hoe" mean?

Okay, I found its meaning.  Posted here but warning, it's disgusting:

Somehow, I am not surprised AZ wants this played at the stadium all the time.

I'm already tired of it.   :?  I listen to any and everything except country...including hip-hop.  But anything with lyrics like that is just garbage I don't care what kind of beat it has.

I sure as hell don't.  Never got into the song, never liked the song.  Now, if you want to throw out some Dangermouse or MF Doom, then possibly but Soulja Boy needs to be taken back to school to learn to spell right.

Idk, I kind of find that tame.  I've been desensitized by the "2girls1cup" phenomenon. (REALLY don't inquire about that if you have a weak stomach.)

I don't know if that's the meaning the artist intended but if it is, then AZ needs to learn that there is nothing super nor manly about something of that nature.

Someone told me about that last night. And it's one of the worst things, if not the worst, I've ever heard of. The problem with bringing up that sort of thing is that curiosity gets the best of us almost exclusively. It's like posting a "Do Not Touch, Wet Paint" sign on a wall and watching everyone walk away wiping paint off their finger.

LOL, I was wondering how long it would take for that to be brought up here.

I've heard about it, but haven't dared to look.  Friends who've seen it tell me: DO NOT WATCH IT!

No. I am not serious.  I know he is very well trying to be cute. Still doesn't make me like his music anymore, though.

And I was curious so I looked up that vid and I think my cat just died.

Reminds me of an old Ren & Stimpy episode, where Stimpy was piloting a space ship and told by no means, for any reason whatsoever are you to push the red button.  The shiny red one in the middle of the control console.
