We have a nephew who had heart surgeries as a baby. He's in college now and doing fine!

After getting Mom a 26" HDTV and seeing what a difference in HD broadcasts, I now want to get a larger 42"or 50" LCD for the family room. The problem is that I would have to completely reverse the furniture orientation of the room, which would necessitate a new carpet purchase.

Seriously though, I have a cousin who's 3 week old baby is in the hospital for a fever after being discharged from Children's after open heart surgery. My gift wish is for health and peace to him and his parents. Some prayers out there for Andy would be appreciated!

will do,

babies are so tough, now a days its not a big deal

He was born with TGA, transposition of the great arteries, where the aorta and the pulmonary artery connections to the heart atria are reversed. He had what's called an arterial switch. He seemed to be doing well postop, even went home, but developed an infection of his incision. It turns out to be staph, and is now in the bone, so prayers are definitely called for and appreciated....we need a Hannukah miracle!

A shadow box to display my Sean Taylor jersey and the ticket stub to the Skins/Bears game and mount it in my bedroom, also a frame for a signed Cooley jersey, frame for a signed hat, 2 footballs, a hockey puck signed by Kolzig, and a case for a batting practice ball hit by Ryan Zimmerman (when i used to work at the stadium)

You sure are all about your Washington sports memorabilia, aren't ya? That's awesome. Are the signed hat, 2 footballs, and hockey puck all signed by Kolzig?

No the hat is signed by Chris Cooley, Santana Moss and some redskins linemen, the football is signed by Art Monk, Ken Harvey, Joe Theismann, and some other redskins legend and the other hat is signed by Joe Gibbs, leaving the puck the only thing signed by Kolzig, I also have a lacrosse ball signed by Joe Walters (played for UMCP and now in the MLL). I'm the most into the redskins, who knows what I'd do without them? haha. Kolzigs sig my parents got me at a softball silent auction. If I get frames I have a feeling they will look nice in my room. I also got a Nationals players autograph but I dont remember who he was, all i remember is he came off as a jerk. Little kids were trying to get his autograph and he flat out said "I dont want to sign anything else, Please let me go."
