tigers would not have any other MLB division. Cabrera would not have piled up numbers but for the cruddy pitching in the AL central. The tigers have a good pitching staff, Prince and Austin Jackson, and traded for FORMER ALL STAR Omar Infante. Andy Dirks and Quintin Berry had good years, and Alex Avila hit around MLB average OPS+.
Even if you ignore the defense, Trout had a better year..
