12:30. 6-7 hours should be good enough sleep for me.

I'm disgusted, but certainly not equally. Willingham at least got a HR to offset his error. Cabrera just plain sucks and has no positive effect on this team. Willingham has a strong future with this team if he just loses the roughness around the edges. Cabrera has a strong future as a janitor or some equally bottom barrel career.

And this is why so many are so pissed about this. It's insane that Cabrera gets away with being a disgrace simply because he yields unearned runs. His WHIP tonight was over 3 which puts his season WHIP up to almost 2.

 Felipe Lopez is a triple short from the cycle in their game. I bet he got a talk after this weekends series.

why don't they do a Nats Xtra segment on how Willingham misread that routine fly ball.

Too funny:
Lead story on Nats Extra tonight - 'Why Daniel Cabrera is having trouble with his control'

I'll take a shot at this one...  Because he's Daniel Cabrera???

I'm sure they'll talk about it.

Because Willingham made an error.

Cabrera's horrible pitching isn't an error, it's the norm.

Because it wouldn't change the fact that Daniel Cabrera stinks to high heaven!

I bet Acta will defend him after the game.

I mean calling up Stammen to replace him makes so much sense it's unbelievable. He pitched yesterday so he could easily be on track to pitch on Saturday in Cabrera's place. Stammen is 4-1 with a 1.85 ERA and he throws strikes.

Im not ready to throw my arms around Villone and kiss the guy AZ-esque, but were did he come from? Hopefully he can keep doing that.

Because we know he misread the ball off the bat and then couldn't recover to make the play. Willingham made a costly error. Players  who are otherwise solid defensively that make errors cost the team in isolation. Cabrera costs this team constantly, and it isn't due to errors. It is, as Rob Dibble said, due to the fact that he is not a pitcher.

he's our best reliever. there's more in AAA (Bergmann and Clip) where that came from. :?

Bergmann and Clippard would be our two best RH relievers.

we are so unbelievably fortunate that Zimmerman signed earlier in the season, and not after this season... or else he would've got what he rightfully deserves...Wright Money.

i've said it all along, Zimmerman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wright, and he's proving it in convincing fashion this year.

Hope he's not using up his hits now in a meaningless game.

Gotta save one for tomorrow and the next day and the next and the next.... and so on and so on!

There's a reason why he's been in the bigs this long. He's not great, but he'll usually get the job done.
