 WHAT????

Home runs per at bat.  It isn't even close.  Hammer has more power than anyone on the team besides Dunn.  He just isn't a good hitter.

Zimmerman's going to hit into DP, without a doubt.

How about XBH/AB?

How about XBH/AB?

Doesn't mean much because of the difference in speed between the two.

If you define power as HR/AB then sure, but Dukes is probably one of the strongest players in baseball.

Besides, without looking it up, I'd be willing to bet that Willie Harris has more HR/AB that Duke over a few 6-week stretches, but that doesn't mean he's got more power.

Not sure about that.  But, that doesn't matter at all.  Power isn't just about strength.  If it was, Gabe Kappler would lead the world in homers every season.

It means plenty.  There are very few occasions over the course of a season where a player's speed will actually turn a single into a double.

It usually happens with guys who are a notch faster than Dukes.

You're retarded.

You're an idiot.  A bloop single could easily turn into a double for Dukes.  Hence, extra base hits mean nothing when talking about raw power.
