He started playing better precisely at the point that Maya was called up and he wasn't.  I think he noticed.

Haha maybe they called up Maya last time just to piss him off.

I'm stuck at home tonight so everyone going rep us well.  I'm really hoping Ross is crisp and on tonight, I'd really like to see us crush the Chubs.
I work in a room / building filled with Cubs fans (I live in Chicagoland) so I would love nothing more than a massive beat down.  I like Quade, but their roster is nothing like it was 6-8 years ago - man now THAT was a roster.  They should have taken it all.  I lived so close to Wrigley Field that the lights lit up my living room at night.  During that 2003 Bartman-ball series, you could hear the collective deflating sound.  Halirious but sad at the same time.

Yeah, I lived off of Waveland for a while so I remember those days quite well.  I really hope we destroy the Cubs tonight though.  I'm pretty bummed I can't go - I had my Cubs hat ready to jinx them.

I feel about Detwiler the same way MDS feels about Maya.  Time to get rocked.

Okay, not TOTALLY the same.  I'm not going to root against the guy, but I'm expecting total failure.

I've always loved R. Det's stuff... especially his breaking ball.  He just needs to put it all together for a solid 6 or 7.  He has the stuff.

Well yeah, he certainly has a penchant for breaking this team's balls whenever he gets a chance to start.

Well, you aren't offering to make the Nats the beneficiaries of your life insurance policies.  :P

So we have a pitcher that has to prove himself with a team that wins without much offense.  Should be interesting.

Anybody with any historical knowledge of this franchise, knows WE CAN NOT LOSE A GAME WHERE THE OPPOSING STARTING PITCHER IS RAMON ORTIZ!

Remember Ross, you were the 6th pick in the 2007 MLB draft.  There were only five people on the planet drafted before you, that year!!!
