True fact: when I lived in Detroit from 2001-2005, EVERY General Motors employee who got a company car was assigned the Pontiac Aztek, because no real people would buy them.

That's the dumbest looking car I have ever soon. Of course they killed off the Pontiacs people actually liked like the Solstice and the Vibe.

My dad's up in the Motor City this week visiting his entire family and some old friends and is catching all 3 of these games. Hopefully we take the last two but I'm sure Wil Nieves' awful play will infect our whole lineup.

Jamie Burke got the rawest end of the deal. Maldonado gets major league pay on the DL.

BTW, just a hunch, but I bet Pudge catches this game and sits out tomorrow to line himself up with Strasburg on Friday.

Where are you getting that lineup from? Willie Harris is starting today.

I made them up, hence the disclaimer. Haven't found a real one yet, just looking at Zuckerman, MLB.com, and Bill Ladson's Twitter.

36 MPH

And I'd like a Pontiac Aztek if I win.

I actually hope that Harris isn't starting.  I think that's the best lineup that includes Guzman we could field right now.  Of course, I'd love to have Kennedy in there (but not leading off).

Is Ghala for serious?? Overestimating Livo. I vote 44 MPH 102-58. And I too would like an Azteca as a prize, I am sure you can find them for free at your local dumpster.

I love Livo, but will be pleasantly surprised if he isn't shelled. These quality AL batters combined with an expansive OF make a rough combo for Livo to deal with. This will be one of his biggest challenges for his style and approach. If he pulls off a quality start or close to it, I'll be thrilled. And Wil needs to get off the Schneid.

Differential: 37MPH

You have to hope that the Hammer is DH today. Even give Willy a start in left if you have to (which Linty said is the case).

I think it's a shame that no matter how long Livo keeps it up, people are going to keep shouting about flukes and houses of cards.  I can't deny that I too keep expecting him to implode, though.

Even if he finishes the entire season with an ERA under 3, there are people who will be 100% certain that he doesn't even deserve a second look for next year's rotation.

:(

No such luck. Morse is DH, but pudge is starting. Line-ups up at Nats Journal.

I'm guessing, that Nyjer Morgan get's his "regularly scheduled day off" tomorrow and we can finally see our Willingham/Bernadina/Morse outfield.
