I'm sick of this rain. How many days can we keep putting the bullpen out in the 2nd and 3rd innings because of rain?
it rained here in PWC for 10 minutes, stopped, and now it's storming like crazy again outside.

I don't believe him.

I don't care what he says. Dunn loafs it in the OF. It's just not because he is big and clumsy.

No one wants to win more than Dunn? That's laughable too.

You remind me of wpa where people can't say anything that sounds negative about the Nats without you reacting like they spit on your face.

learn what? That I'm the only one on here that knows Dunn's true value and knew it well before we even thought of signing him?

and just what will get in return for dunn?  oh good more prospects - some that may not even pan out.

he likes it here in dc and outside a few errors and some strikeouts, he's been a nice boost to our offense.  i'd love to keep him and have that threat there.

and btw if dunn were to be shipped away, u realize how bad zim is going to decline?

no, they have been pitching Ryan tough and pitching around him for several months now. Teams would rather face Dunn than RZ.

Dunn will never be on a winning team for the Nationals. That is the bottom line. Why wouldn't we trade him? I try to see the big picture. Even if you think he helps the team what does it matter if we sacrifice a win or two over the rest of this season?

If we were an AL team we could keep him.. but this is the NL.

Poking a hornet's nest, that's what you are doing when you start taking shots at WPA.

haha so you have an opinion and you automatically think you see the big picture.  who knows, maybe dunn says he wants to stay here and he's our leftfielder/first baseman for the next 4 years.

Your name is not Marty McFly or Doc Brown ... you don't have a delorean that can magically go into the future or to the past.

I didn't take any shots at her. I was aiming at SF.

That is not going to happen because he is not a player that Rizzo is a fan of.

We will never be a winning club with Dunn on the roster. I thought you wanted us to be a winner?

He needs to get traded to an AL team like Detroit and just stick to swinging the bat.

What's the forecast looking like? Should I give up on this one or do we have a shot at starting back up within then next 30 minutes?

Drew Storen is about to go on the mound in the 9th to close out a 5-1 Potomac lead.

He got the last out in the 8th inning too (K).

sportsfan, you are truly dense.  I can't wait for Dunn to be off the team just so we don't have to put up with your temper tantrums anymore.

What a find! I hope he has a chance to make the bullpen next season.

And Storen closes it out. 1.1 IP 0 H 0 R 0 BB 2 K.

31 Ks to 0 BBs 18 IP with Hagerstown and Potomac.

The P-Nats announcers love him. They said he has the best stuff of any Potomac pitcher they have seen all season and that is saying a lot considering how many good pitchers have taken the mound for them this year.
