One plus of MLB.TV is getting to hear the pissed off opposing announcers when the Nats are winning.

This game is basically a West Coast game at this point with the three hour rain delay...

haha, what are they saying.

this is so crazy. Perdomo was looking dominant after facing the first two batters and then gave up a walk to Martin on a very borderline pitch that could have been called a strike and then he just melted down.

Yeah, I like checking out the production of the other team's broadcast.

I haven't seen a crew that I like better than having Dibble so far.

Do you think Guz runs out that grounder if his pitcher doesn't battle the way he does?  Martin just sent a message to the whole team.

haha, what are they saying.

Basically pissed off that the Padres were one pitch away from a 1-2-3 inning.  Also, I don't know if MASN pointed it out, but initially, after the Dunn GS, the scoreboard showed 8-0.  The announcers went off on a tangent about the lowly Nationals so desperate for runs that they needed to change the score

Vermont.

Has "Vermont" always been under your avatar or did you just add it to make me look stupid?  :icon_mrgreen:

learn what? That I'm the only one on here that knows Dunn's true value and knew it well before we even thought of signing him?
That is not going to happen because he is not a player that Rizzo is a fan of.

We will never be a winning club with Dunn on the roster. I thought you wanted us to be a winner?
I'm assuming sportsfan did not learn anything at all from what just happened. Namely, a clutch two-out home run to give us a 7 run lead. By Adam "Worst Baseball Player Ever" Dunn

Apparently, Adrian Gonzalez is about to set the Pads franchise record for consecutive games played with 305.

Tyler Clippard has shown so much improvement this year. His BAA this month: .167. Over his career: .257.

That's too bad.  I've always liked him.  Very underrated player.

3-2 change-up? don't like it at all. throw your fastball.

I cannot believe he didn't get that strike 3 call earlier in the AB. never seen a pitch that good not called a strike.

This homeplate umpire is determined to give these runs back.
