I used to love watching Tim pitch for the University of Richmond.

Lineups here slacker. The sacrifices may need to expand to include lazy game day thread creators.

It doesn't matter now that you've replaced the questions marks with players. :)

ARGHHHHHHHHH  Are you F'ing kidding me Riggleman?  Why is this so difficult for you to understand?  Belliard does this team no favors.  We know what he is.  He has NO trade value.  We want to know if Alberto can play full time.

Martin deserves an adequate team behind him.  Belliard and Guzman makes for one of the worst infields in baseball.  What is wrong with you old man?

Anderson Hernandez is just as bad.  I'm going to continue to say it until we get a solid 2nd baseman (or just move Gonzalez over there full-time) we had a chance to get Orlando Hudson.  None of this crap would've happened if we had him.

I can't believe how bad Mock was last night and the defense wasn't great either.  Padres pitcher couldn't throw any of his breaking pitches for strikes (and I re-watched a little of the game today where Dibble said the same thing) and we could only get two runs off of him.  Terrible game overall.

Belliard is hitting .191 and is 34 years old. I can't believe Mike thinks he can get something for him.

Hernandez is hitting 60 points higher and is 8 years younger.

Hammonds, who is going to start for us at 2B in 2010? I have no clue.

It has to be an outside option.  Again, O-Dog would've been awesome in a Nats uni.  Oh well no surprise considering who our owners are.  Cheapskates.

And I'm not advocating starting Belliard over Hernandez, or even Harris out there ... none are ideal starting 2nd basemen.  I think Gonzalez should play there everyday in the mean time.  Our organization just has a tough time cutting the ugly fat (Kearns, Belliard, etc).

And again, SF, you bash Mike Rizzo ... but your boy Jim Bowden brought this mess on all of us.

we are going to get spanked by the HURTING padres yet again.

we play down to our opponents, the worse they are, they worse we play (amazingly), evidenced by our 4 errors last night.

we prob won't take 1 game from the next-worst team

thanks lerners, we're doing so great with your "plan"!

oh wait, that "plan" was just a way for you to make a crapload of money

So Hammonds , when hudson rejected our offer to him, were the lerners supposed to force him to sign at gunpoint? Just curious since you are whining about him again as if we did not offer him a deal and didn't get turned down.

looking forward to another "hammonds vs. everyone" thread that starts because he mentions we should have signed "o-dogg", a thread that is just  him saying we should have signed him, and others saying it wasn't possible

nobody wins, and it eventually gets locked

fun times for all

As far as i remember we offered hudson a contract early in free agency and he quickly turned it down. Then he eventually signed with the dodgers for the same price as we offered, or very close to it.

haha umdnats FTW!

Lerner Family is doing a great job.  You can tell b/c they have so many fans on here.  It's like a classroom of Nats320's.

we dropped out.

and there had to be better options out there in the offseason than what we have now.

Oh stfu both of you. This has nothing to do with being a lerners fan and everything to do with you continually whining and crying over a player who did not want to come here in nearly every game thread.

The lerners have made 40 thousand stupid decisions during their ownership, but not signing hudson is the big difference maker, amirite?
