Now that is a legitimate complaint, although it's hard to fault him given how busy he has to be. (Then again, he's not too busy to make some media circus at Ray's Hell Burger, so who knows?)

he isn't busy enough to go to jay leno, fill out an ncaa bracket, order 27 helicopters ... i'll stop with the political talk if everyone else does ... but when it comes to him bashing our team and being the president and the stadium in the white house backyard, you would think he would be honored to throw out the first pitch and that he would honor the tradition.  guess not.

President Obama throws out the first pitch before the game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

I despise the man but aside from that  :icon_mrgreen: it pisses me off that he wouldn't throw out the first pitch at our park.  It's freakin tradition!

He's probably a stuck-up jerkass, but I'm glad he dissed the team.  Given the small chance that they aren't impervious to any kind of embarrassment, hopefully that'll serve as some kind of wake-up call to the numbskulls who run this team.

I'm amazed that in this State Farm All Star commercial, they don't show a baby with a Nationals Diaper on filled with crap.

The only pitches that count are the ones thrown by pitchers on the roster. That crap they throw before the game is meaningless. I would rather have an extra relaible arm in the bullpen than have Obama throw out the first pitch on Opening Day.

It was a plot for the cheap Lerners to sell extra tickets - they arranged it ahead of time with Obama, who never planned to come.

That's the first time I've ever been called a communist. I know some here think that's a compliment but I don't.

I despise the man but aside from that  :icon_mrgreen: it pisses me off that he wouldn't throw out the first pitch at our park.  It's freakin tradition!

It's only been done twice by the President in 5 years so it can't be much of a tradition.

Lerners can't afford it.  As we all know I'm not an Obama fan, but would've liked to have seen him honor the tradition.  That's all.

C'mon Pujols.
