Did anyone go to the Beer Festival in Shirlington Saturday ?

I was in Fairfax, at Captain Pell's crabhouse, washing down a dozen large with Budweiser.  $5 in the jukebox, and you own the music for the night (18 plays).  No better way to spend my 22nd anniversary.

We don't want people who don't drink beer posting in it.   Don't want the content getting diluted.    :icon_mrgreen:

Beer is fermented not distilled.

Beer isn't diluted at all it just has a low alcohol content.

Enjoying a late night pint of Highland Oatmeal Porter. Their brewery is stationed in beautiful Ashville, NC so it is a local beer here.

Not too bitter, not too sweet, not too soft, but not too hard. It's just right. Perfect for someone looking for a nice dark chocolate sort of flavor beer. Pours black with a light copperish head.

I could drink this six pack down tonight.

For some reason I'm thirsty for a Miller Lite.  I've been on a Stella Artois kick for a while, but I'd like some corn juice flavored beer tonight.

There needs to be a liquor store that stays open until 1am so I can hit it after work and not have to stick to the selection at sheetz

Jesus!  One, that's a lot of beer, 2, that's cheap as hell.  $10 a case?

I'm not that big on malty beers most of the time, I like hop bombs.

10 cases?  Do you by chance mean 10 six-packs, or 10 4-packs?  I would think the Octoberfest would sell for over $30 per case.

Awesome...the only reason to leave the house for a while is to stumble around the block for exercise!

Ever had a dry hopping beer? It's the beer of champions. Looking for a good American microbrew dry hopping.

Jeez they are really VA-centric. Not sure whether you win with Arlington/Alexandria or Gaithersburg.
