I really wish there were more places to get a good beer than just the Red Porch (in addition to having to navigate the crowd, they add a buck to the price for the privilege of getting one there).  Adding a Sam Adams was a step in the right direction, but inadequate.  There are lots of new and established local breweries they could carry (if these breweries are able to supply a reasonable quantity):

-Port City
-DC Brau
-Williamsburg Alewerks
-Starr Hill
To name a few.

And maybe a rotating tap for visiting teams (they do that in Cleveland).  Most MLB cities--except maybe Miami--have a good local.  (Philly=Victory, New York=Brooklyn, Atlanta=Terrapin, etc.)

Here's something Philly does right:
Brews added at stadium for Phils postseason
September 29, 2011

CITIZENS BANK Park, which already has one of the best beer selections of any ballpark in the majors, is taking it up a notch when the postseason starts this weekend.

The Phillies will open a pair of beer gardens around Sections 210 and 317 that will add some really outstanding brews to the fine selection of locals already on tap.

Look for the likes of Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald (one of the best porters brewed in America) and 21st Amendment Back in Black.

Starr Hill Boxcar Pumpkin Porter. If you like DFH Punkin, you'll like this.  This is slightly less pumkiny and maybe a little more bitter

Many places that brew their beer (such as MadFox in Falls Church) offer growlers.  Whole Foods also sells growlers.

Capitol City in Shirlington used to as well.  My info's a few years old, so call before wasting gas.

Draft beer here in Hanoi is just under 12 cents a pint, but I'm going buck wild and getting the 80 45 cent 500 cL bottles of "333".

Liver, do me proud...

It's a light French-style lager, probably not for the serious hopheads, but good for a hot climate such as this.
That said, we found a brewpub that has several very good German and Bohemian style beers (exorbitant by local standards at 50,000 Duong for a
half liter, though at a little over $2 U.S. it hardly broke the bank).
Will probably pass on the big jugs of snake-infused rice hooch one sees on the street.

Cool.  So what flavor is a 333 ?

No more beer for Boston starters in the clubhouse? We all knew it was a matter of time when they took away the keg at 3rd base.

as a former union agitator, Torre should be the first to realize that a change in workplace conditions has to be collectively bargained , and unlike the NFLPA, the MLBPA doesn't like to get bent over by management

That's not the same as just plain '33' (trente-trois) is it? Had some of that in Paris many years ago - makes Bud Light seem like Tennents Super.

Wonder if I should wear my number 7 or number 86?

Update:    My neighbor is from Milwaukee.   He turned me on to Leinies at a Nats' game several years ago.  We chatted about checking out the joint.     Talked to my wife yesterday (she doesn't drink) and she said she's up for a road trip to B'mer as the designated driver.

i'm missing the "beer" reference here. :)

If you haven't seen it already, the special from January where they travel to Bethlehem from Iraq is worth your time.  You can grab the torrent at finalgear.com

yeasty looking mo-fo.

It's too close to Halloween for you to have used your carved jack-o-lantern - did you use a fresh pumkin or canned?

No actual pumpkin, but a bunch of pumpkin pie spices.

Looks great.  Do you need any testing agents for a clinical trial ?
