But the sports are more intense, faster.
This is heavy on muscle and bones and so more injuries are likely to happen.

But isn't the sports being more intense and faster a result of an increase in power/strength training?

I went back and re-wrote a bunch of the one I told you about. It's looking better now. Might take me another month or two to finish.

Novel or play?

No way that crossed the plate. Reverse the teams and it's called ball 4.

After seeing the replay, I agree.

Screenplay.

Nice, I wish I had the knowledge of how to write a screenplay.  I have been working on a novel for the last few years, but due to schooling and work it is moving at a snail-like pace.  I hope to finish it before I am 30, haha.

Not only training on power strength, also improved material (tennis) and different training methods and food (supplements).
And not to forget: Mental coaching.
A lot of sports is a combination of talent and mental state of mind.

Although, some of the "hotter" girls I have hooked up with have fit into this category, none of them were keepers though.

Most of the time, longer than a couple of nights is too long anyway.   ;)

This ump is terrible. Both of the last 2 pitches were off the plate yet were called strikes.

There has also been considerable attention payed to the contribution of playing surfaces.  While it would be logical to assume playing surfaces have decreased injuries over time, many would argue that surfaces such as artificial turf have been key in many serious injuries over the past 10 or so years... specifically in the NFL.

I'd love to write a novel, but all I really have going for me is my creativity. I'm really not a good "writer." I'd probably confuse the hell out of people if I wrote a novel.

Sure, but some materials are tough on your knies and enkle's.
So you see different injuries.
Stress injuries.
Top sports always seems to wear out week spots on athletes body (knee, enkle, shoulder or muscle).

Bang zoom, another boring loss is in the books.  :?

Hopefully San Diego and Seattle can pull wins out of their asses.

I can't dislike Samardzija. Dude was the crap for ND's football team a few years ago. It's hard to believe he's already in the Bigs.

And the small show leap from Soriana ends it all.

Have a good day.
Until next time.

Oh completely.  I have no idea if what I have written thus far will even make sense to anyone.  I am nowhere close to phase where I let others take a look at it.  When you invest so much of your time and original ideas into something, it is easy to be afraid of the criticism.  I also worry sometimes that I think too deeply into stuff (creating character names, analogies, allegories, etc.) and that some of the stuff I write will just go over people's heads.

If there was any type of quality control for MLB umps, Angel Hernandez would not be employed by the majors next season.  I have seen some bad umps in my life, a lot actually, but none come close to this guy.

Once you sell something, you lose that fear. My advice: GET AN EDITOR. Mine has saved me more than once.

Laz is my least favorite ump. That dude's just terrible.
