Without a runner on, that clinches this being game 42 since Ramirez has had an RBI other than by a HR.  The situational hitting and LOB for the Marlins are hideous.

Of course the timely HR offsets that a bit.

We can't expect our pitchers to go through another extra inning game.

Terrible pitch. They had him down 0-2 and just could not put him away. disappointing.

Did anyone discuss the insanity of Manny using up all 3 catchers? What if something happens?

Of course we go to extras with no backup catchers and no emergency catcher that I know of (maybe Pete Orr?)

I think we can expect that.

Couldn't have been a nicer pitch for Ramirez. Should have walked him. Okay, that's stupid, but it would have been one on with two outs...

That ball was ****ing killed. :?

I think Belliard is the emergency catcher

It would have to be Belliard, I think.

The image of Belliard catching is a really tough one to picture in your head, but once you do it's pretty damn funny.

It's gotta be nice to know you've got a guy on your team who can consistently deliver when certain pitches are thrown.

Lopez pinch-ran for him.

Predictable. Rauch dominates everyone but Hanley. He was the only guy I was afraid of doing any damage off Rauch in that inning. This game should be over.

AZ would drool over the idea.

Two of our best pitchers Redding and Rauch both throw waist high
perfect HR fastballs to Willingham and Ramirez with 2 Strikes each.
Why would you throw anything but an outside breaking pitch or maybe a letter high fastball.
It's not like they have never faced these guys before.  Those two
especially do not miss fast balls over the middle of the plate waist high.

Boone is trash. He swings at the first thing he sees within 5 feet of the strike zone.

Give Rauch a break, he's been doing amazingly.

When did LoDuca come out?

LO DUCA (available for TRADE) was playing LF and came out for a pinch runner.  Flores started. Nieves will finish the game; don't worry about it.  Won't last long.
