  • Werth on a roll!!!!
Castro is a stud. I wouldn't mind testing him out at the leadoff spot.

So how many days do you think it will be for Chipper to get a hang nail and go back on the DL? I have the over/under at 10 days ...

We got hits from #6, #7 and #8.  We scored a run and we got the pitcher spot out of the way.

Now that's winning baseball!

We owe Cormier big time.  He's the guy who plunked Vinnie last season in Vinnie's final at bat in the home opener.  For those who may not remember, Vinnie had a double, triple and homer already, and needed only a single for the cycle.  Cormier hit him with the pitch, and it looked intentional to about everyone there.

I dread putting anyone on base for free, so no hitting the batter.  This game should be about getting the win and turning around the mood of this team and fans.  Foolish pride and vendettas against pitchers who nailed a guy LAST SEASON who isn't even a Nat anymore should be put aside.  I'm sure they aren't even thinking about last season right now or Vinny Castilla.

More important things to concentrate on.

Don't misunderstand my post.  I am not recommending doing anything that will help them to beat us.  There may be opportunities presented, that would not hurt us, or there may not be.    Whatever happens, happens.

Castro shows very good baseball aptitude, seems to know how to use his speed effectively.  Last night he showed bunt, and then slapped it past the pulled in infield.  I love that kind of play.

The best thing the Nats can do to Cormier is to SHELL him and get him out of the game early - in return shut-out the Braves in the process - that will pay him back in spades ...

Pedro is filthy tonight - WONDERFUL to see!

Zim is swinging at pitches that he hadn't been swinging at the last 3 or 4 months
