Eeyore pretty wonky this inning...Christopher Robin (righty) and Tigger (lefty) warming up in the bullpen.

Take this freaking bum out now!

I'd usually say that we should put our starter out there for one more inning, but Baltimore has 7 righties and one switch hitter in their lineup today.

Matt Stairs... I just can't imagine why he is on roster. They have to cut him soon. They have to!

Alright Lannan. It's been a fun three years you've been here but I think its time to give someone else a shot.

Ah, yess. Turn on the game and Matt Stairs is hitting. 2 for  27, they say...routine flyball. Next there is LaRoche.

This is a problem!!

I hate to say "I told you so..."

Well yeah. At one point Lannan was a pretty successful, and consistent, starter. He's still consistent but hes giving up more runs and walks than one would want to see in a game.

This game isn't done. This starter won't be around much longer and eventually we'll put some runs on the bullpen.

I'd say Maya but I might just say screw it and go with Peacock/Meyers if we could (if they are ready).

Time to send LaRoche under the knife.  Swinging with one arm isn't going to work.

LaRoche pop-fly to left. I don't care that much if he made Gurthrie throw 11 pitches. Come on...how about contact????

Jageler was mentioning just now basically how we ended up with LaRoche - the Nats and Orioles were both in the hunt for Lee...Orioles sign Lee...LaRoche is the only first baseman left...we're the only team left needing a first baseman...so we get LaRoche.

He also describes the crowd as 'a sea of orange with a little red mixed in'...thinks the crowd may be a bit bigger than last night...wonder how many Nats supporters made it up there.

I guess Meyers is an option, too. Wouldn't mind that.

Hey, we blew three leads to them in a series last year...turn-about sounds good to me.
