Remarkably little in the way of the usual diving & flopping one expects from the olive belt

Messi is too good. Milan should have scored, though. 2-2 now.

I'll bet things are getting rowdy behind closed doors in St Peters...the Cardinal of Milan probably just broke a chair over someone's skullcap.

The game actually got better in the second half. As the snow got deeper it slowed the balls down they stayed in play instead of skipping away. Once teams made the adjustment to hit the ball harder it became less clusterfreaky. The CRicans adapted well as the game went on.

Seemed to the unprofessional eye (mine) that most of the time was spent in the US end.      Two US defenders have yellow cards.    Expect a Mexican onslaught in the 2nd half.    They haven't shown me much and the crowd has begun to get restless.

Great... well hopefully it doesn't go that way.

I'll take a scoreless draw in the Azteca. It's not a win, but its still a point. and an impressive one considering that Mexico is practically unbeatable in their home stadium, and the US has only beaten Mexico ONCE in Estadio Azteca in the 100-year history of US Soccer.

Yeah.  I'll take the draw.

Yeah.  I'll take the draw.

Announcers said early in the game that the US was without the services of eleven players   ...   including Howard and Donovan.    We get Mexico again in Columbus.

its not so much about us getting a point as it is mexico getting 1 instead of 3. second half was a bit more even. US was plying with fire: intercepting the last pass at the last moment, but they did well enough.

might want to see more of eddie johnson out there. he looked more willing and able to beat defenders on the dribble

Bayern Munich is slapping their tackle across Barca's face again and again.  Amazing.
