I wonder if Storen and McGeary used to talk at Stanford.

No, Storen's major is Industrial Design or something like that.

EDIT:

Quote
there was Storen in the Nationals' clubhouse, on a laptop registering for classes. He hopes to take 20 credits toward his degree in product design, part of Stanford's mechanical engineering program.

Currently in XST... building arm strength, I imagine.

He had TJ a while ago... but hasn't been heard from since... as far as everyone knows... he's still with the organization... just not currently assigned to a team.

Yea..that was what i figured.....you think there is any hope for this guy?  If i recall correctly things started out rough for him but he was beginning to show some promise.  I remember this was blowing up when we drafted him thinking we had a steal.

Per Linty - he made his season debut today in the GCL with a scoreless inning.

Well, a Storen-clone would not be that bad.

Yes! They might be trying to just stretch him back into throwing multiple innings, but I think RP might be best for him

We better never acquire Pat Venditte, it would destroy this newly imposed uniformity in the far thread

If someone didn't already know he is a lefty, they shouldn't be on this board.
