Speaking of espn, how is gary thorne not announcing on a national level. Maybe he is locally, but I dont know. He was the voice of hockey in the golden years for anyone under 30, which would be the early 90s up until the strike of 94/95
To me, the golden years were somewhere between the early 80s to the early 90s. Bettman started screwing with things and the game has changed significantly. I still love hockey, but it's not the game it was.
