I thought they would be a wildcard. I was pretty optimistic at the beginning of the season but became more peissmistic and more fearful of a choke as the reality of competing for the division crown came to pass.
The wildcard is great, and no doubt an accomplishment for this team, but I'm a greedy SOB: I want that 2012 NL East pennant flying from Nats Park.
