Not even close. Turner was a top notch prospect. No one on the Cubs was.
Samardzija is a lot better than Turner.

Too late. Probably too late when he took his warmups.

It's possible that this rehabbing pitcher who has never gone more than 100 innings in a season is just getting tired.

Sit Strasburg now and give him another start!

Werth has been a terrible outfielder since coming back. Last year I thought he was really solid defensively.

For the record, I always said Werth was a terrible outfielder and no one agreed.

It was close, but ...

It was fair.

Carp speaks in such clichés it drives me up the wall.

There is no chalk to fly up.    The lines are painted!   It hit the line.

Stras looking awful. wow

It's not surprising that a prodigy that never struggled in college/the minors might have a seasons like this. Add the pressure of trying to be the best during his last two games.

Replay says you are wrong.

From the official MLB rules:

Official Rules:
3.00 Game Preliminaries

3.01
Before the game begins the umpire shall:
(a) Require strict observance of all rules governing implements of play and equipment of players;
(b) Be sure that all playing lines (heavy lines on Diagrams No. 1 and No. 2) are marked with lime, chalk or other white material easily distinguishable from the ground or grass;

It was fair.

Could be tired.

Might have also been thinking too much (about this being his very last start at the Park ...  the worst decision in the history of sports).

Replay showed  I was right.

There is no chalk.

It hit the line ... the outside part of the line ... but the line.

I don't think it did.

But I guess it really doesn't matter.
