Nice job, Kearns. If he can get his power back, it may be worth it to keep him around. Just not as a #4 or #5 hitter. I don't care how much we're paying him.

I would be willing to keep him around if he could prove that he was actually worth a damn.  Right now, he is nothing but an 8 (?) mil waste of space, IMO.  I agree 4 or 5 is not where he should batting, Im thinking the 6 spot should be nice for him.

We just don't want to extend the lead do we? Man I hope the bullpen doesn't have a little hiccup.

Does anyone know where Ray Knight and Johnny Holliday broadcast NatsXtra from?  Is it from the studios in Baltimore or do they have their own near DC?

It was 5 million this year, 8 next. The option is for 10 million and a 1 million buyout.

I could see that too, although I could see Flores in the 5 spot eventually, especially with that avg with RISP

This new D ought to lower some our pitchers ERAs and increase their GO/AO ratio in the process.

They do? I've only seen them there Opening Night. I asked the MASN booth once, and they told me they didn't know why they weren't there more often. The beginning of the season, they said that they would be broadcasting from the game. I wonder what happened.

This is what I got from MASN in an email this week,

You can always catch us live from Nationals Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday home games. Our set is in deep center right next to the Red Porch.

Would anyone be opposed to us re-signing Willie Harris to a 1-year $2 Million dollar deal to be a super-utility guy that can play outfield, 2B, and 3B? I think it would be a wise move.

Interesting, so is it an outdoor set when they broadcast by the Red Porch?
