SMH at this little snippet in the recap of the game on the Pirates' site:

At some point, the Bucs would like to see that confidence turn into wins instead of potential. After all, they only face the last-place Nationals twice a year.

I find it funny how a franchise as dismal and pathetic as the Pirates can talk trash like that.  They have nothing to look forward to as well.  Their farm system blows.  Have fun in Last Place for the next 10+ years, Pittsburgh!

great catch sportsfan.  that's very unprofessional on their part.  If it were a first place club I can see them pulling it off - as unclassy as it is - but for the Pirates to be doing that ... ROFL
