regarding strasburg ... way too early to panic. remember we have babied him all along the way since draft day, any kind of hiccup like tonight (or the sore neck in arizona league), we were going to scratch/shut him down.

call me an optimistic, but i think he'll be fine. if he's not, then god may as well strike the city of dc with the largest lightning bolt he can muster up.

oh and sign adam dunn.

and regarding batista ... i know from time to time i've even shaken my heads when i see him come into the game, but it's good for every team to have one of those.

good guy in the clubhouse, but he can pitch in multiple roles for the club. he may not always be effective and his style may not be pretty, but he takes one for the team more often than not (mop up duty, a night like tonight, etc).
