I cant say that I've got alot of confidence in Soriano coming through right now.  Best we can hope is somehow we get to Zimm.

Oh no, here goes Frank again, two men on and nobody out, and he's going to bunt.  Damn.
there's nothing wrong with that.

Oh, yes there is.  I'm trying to dig up the stats, but I believe that having runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, is no better than having 1st and 2nd with no outs.  And the sacrifice attempt itself has a significant failure rate, that basically makes the whole attempt of no value to scoring.
Frank's insistance on sacrificing at inapropriate times is one of the reasons so many people think he's a poor tactician....

And an idiot...which is why F-Rod was brought in to a 5-4 game in the 9th...

Here's the "expected runs" per Baseball Prospectus, for the two situations:

0-outs, runners 1st and 2nd, 1.38
1-out, runners 2nd and 3rd  1.371

So even if you could wave a magic wand and have sacrifices executed perfectly, you would be diminishing your expected runs scored slightly.  And since sacrifices often fail (popups, double plays, etc.) the risk comes without any reward.

I take it we don't have F-Rod in contention to be the #5 pitcher next year?

You can barely tell an intentional walk from F-Rod's regular pitches...

Frank wants Soriano to get 100 RBIs, but won't let Zimm go for 52 doubles.

Booker gets the job done.. F U FRANK!  Like I said earlier, we can still take the series tomorrow, but this one hurts because we were up 4-1 when our offense decided to stop hitting and Frank decided to start screwing things up.  Here comes Flash to put the Phils right back in the WC Race
