It would be nice if Dukes doesn't see the field again.  Ever.

Why'd Dukes get pulled?

I've been watching for about 45 minutes and got caught up on this thread.  My cousin and her husband became personal friends of Suppan in St Louis.  My uncle keeps talking about him getting $11 million per year or so from Milwaukee.  I tell him that Suppan went into the toilet before the ink dried on the contract.

The RALLY:
Lopez walked.  Guzman safe at first on shortstop Hardy´s fielding error, Lopez to second.  Zimmerman doubled to center, Lopez scored, Guzman to third.  Young hit by pitch.  Aaron Boone ran for Dmitri Young.  Milledge grounded out to first, Guzman scored, Zimmerman to third, Boone to second. Flores doubled to left, Zimmerman and Boone scored.  Pena walked.

  Nationals 5
  Brooders 1

Hey Selig!

Man that Error by Hardy was huge.  :D

Zim and Flores, of course, come through with the clutch hits.

It's crazy that we are dominating this game when we have 3 hits, and Perez was nothing special.  We'll take it.

I think with Zim heating up that he could be our all-star.

Seeing Langerhans wear our jersey again kinda makes me sick. :?

Still not as bad as Fick, though.

Mackowiak (a lefty) PHs for Duke against a Lefty? why?

Mackowiak came in to PH before the move to the bullpen and Acta didn't want to burn another player by making an extra move.

We have 3 hits (all 3 for extra bases) tonight but they have been run producing hits.

Perez did fine. Our offense still needs to do more.

At least you know that Langerhans is going to play better defense than Pena, Dukes, and Milledge.  Even if he doesn't hit, none of them are either.

Why are people so obsessed with who goes to the ASG when we're barely treading water?

You're funny as hell dude

Yes, his numbers were more than fine.  He was very fortunate.

I chose not to check. I had a "He's finally off this freaking team" party, and left it at that.

Sanches is in line for the win in his first outing of the season.

That might not be a good thing though. O'Connor got a win in his first outing up here and we all know how things turned out for him.  :?
