The overt trolls are easy to ban. It's the subtle trolling (or at least they think they're subtle) that's hard to get a handle on. But then it becomes very subjective. Someone's trolling is someone else's sarcastic joke or provocative comment.

Don't get me wrong, Expos is a genius - but his subtle needling is just too much after this nightmarish season. (and he's also damn good at it ) I would fully endorse banning him until 2016, then I would welcome his wit back Unless the Mets somehow win...then we won't stop hearing about the Expos until the Montreal Rays arrive.

I have to admit though, he nearly has me guessing - is he a Met fan or just a bitter Quebecois?

Honestly, I would not mind.  It would be a great way for members to take control of the board. 

If you really want to purge dual loyalty fans, the Linty (Indians), NatsAddict, Tigersfan, SoxFan59, the Jays fans, HammondsNats, Welch (a Yankees fan), UMDNats (Yankees), El Osso Bucco, Skippy, maybe RD (I think he's an Angels fan), probably a few others would be banned.  There's several local Red Sox fans, too, who follow the Nats and post here besides myself (I've figured out a few and have ideas about some others) that have skated under the radar here.   I think behavior and not identity is right way to weed out those you don't want here.

Wait a minute!! I am a third-generation Washington Senators / Nationals / Nats fan, old enough to have heard Arch McDonald (radio) and Bob Wolff (TV and radio), who still remembers my first game: Griffith Stadium, Opening Day 1954.

I developed a neighborly friendliness toward the Yankees about 20 years into my team's 30 year road trip, but in 1971 I became twice as much a Redskin fan and it stayed that way until 2005. In fact, I still have my 1960 Senators' Yearbook, full of "Joe Hardy" stories about Harmon Killebrew.
