Souza looked great at the plate when I saw him a few times late last year. He has been plagued by inconsistency and injuries the last couple years. He has the tools and abilities (great power) to be a very good player if could only pull them together. Good to hear that he might have finally found a place defensively at first base. He is still pretty young too.
there was also that um, little problem with PEDs that landed him a 50 game suspension.
