Is David Freitas considered a legitimate prospect? I do like the potential of his bat.

Good bat, still coming along defensively.  Low A ball should determine his status of a prospect, though the short season numbers were quite impressive.

Chiefs and Ironpigs going to extras 3-3.  The usual (or, at least, the known suspects) had good games.

Stammen 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 1R, 1BB, 3K
JD Martin, 1IP, 1H, 0ER, 0R
Balestar, 2IP, 1H, 0ER, 0R, 2BB, 3K

Lee Hyde was awful.

Wild pitch by Chico with a man on third ends the game.

Martin, pitching an inning of relief, is the odd man out in the Cuse rotation.

He is among the list of guys who don't profile as front line guys but could turn into useful backup/bench guys

I try to temper my enthusiasm on guys like that and not project them as future stars. It makes it more enjoyable to watch them develop

Guys surprise every year and Freitas has started off well. He is one to watch given his position

Freitas has a heck of an attitude, no? Signing on draft day and playing his heart out made me like him a lot.

Those are the types of guys fun to follow. I have always been partial to Josh Wilkie because of that. Undrafted free agent who just works and performs. Never is going to be a star (or likely a regular) but they keep performing

Wow, it was actually a dagger typo by the Harrisburg announcer.  Norris out, Ivany starting.

Guy can't catch a break.  First the hamate, then the concussion, now slipping on a wet bag.  Hopefully it is nothing serious.

Had 29 in 18 innings in the GCL last year. 12 games, no starts.

Norris' ankle doesn't sound too bad.  7 day DL, just 'sore and stiff' - http://www.masnsports.com/byron_kerr/2011/04/norris-suffers-sprained-ankle-place-on-dl.html

Was a beast at Duke as a starter. I really like Manno, expect big things from him
