This isn't the play of a first place team. What's wrong with them?

5 straight awful starts from the pitching and the offense is no where to be found. Not one guy on the team is hitting right now.

Who got a chicken farm.  500 dollars for your flock if you put them on pikes outside the CF gate.

Man of my word, pm for details.  Deal off if illegal.

I don't like the tone of this past week.

Exactly.  This feels like more than a losing streak.  Bad bad baseball.  Desmond perhaps proving to fragile with 2 injuries this year that were not the result of contact (abdominals and hammy), Strasburg shutdown drama, Davey and Rizzo arguing, stupid golf outing ruining 2 days off, baserunning gaffe by our 2 most experienced players, fat Carlos Lee and no-knees Chase Utley stealing on us.......

He is not healthy.  He is trying to gut it out but we are probably better off going back to Espy at SS and Lombo at 2B.  I give him credit for trying but it ain't happening.

I know the odds on fangraphs, Vegas, whatever are totally in our favor.. but I'm not liking this. And for those who are 100% in us not collapsing, can you really say you'd feel confident vs. SF/LA/STL?

I'm pulling for the San Diego freaking Padres.  This is what I've been reduced to.   :-[

The championship Japanese Little League team would have put up a better fight tonight.

Starting to get a real bad feeling about this team now. Something just doesn't look right.

Whatever. It is never as bad as as it looks on a losing streak or as good as it looks on a winning streak. Baseball is a long season.

yeah, it's sad. I stayed up for the whole game last night. And may do the same tonight unless they get behind big early which is likely. Medlen vs rookie making second career start

Fourth time through the batting order, and still pathetic at-bats.

Pitching is breaking down, defensive gaffes, this team is in a downward spiral.  Prepare for the most disappointing team in DC baseball history.

Pop some rolaids and cowboy up or jump off the 14th street bridge. Either works.

he's back

I didn't forget about the '07 Mets. We beat their ass several times down the stretch to aid in their collapse. The Marlins and Phillies are doing the same thing to us this year. Disgusting.

Calvert ST bridge is better.
