As an outsider looking in...it seems to me in a game like this one they save Stras some innings by pulling him now after 4 innings and 67 pitches.

Won't do any good.  He still won't pitch in the postseason if Rizzo has him start every fifth day.

I think they'll take him out when his spot comes up.

I'm just rooting for the no-hitter to be broken up at this point.

not likely.

What the freak are you swinging at, Desmond?!?!??!

I believe it was that white round thing about three feet off home plate.

Ian Desmond are you serious? What the freak are you swinging at? Do they even give a crap?

I hope they get no hit. They deserve the embarrassment.

of course they care.  it was just a terrible AB.  danny just had one too.

Why Davey why?

Why is Strasburg going to stay in the game?

Why do we need him to keep pitching in a game in which we trail 6-0? That is a head scratcher.

Why waste Stras on the mound at 6-0? Why have him bat when maybe Tracy could jack one and cut the lead in half?

We are swinging at every pitch.  It looks like we are trying to get this game done as quickly as possible.  i can't say I disagree with that strategy.

There weren't really any highlights on the Nats side?
