freaking Dunn. swung and missed on two hittable fastballs in that AB. he's HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE with RISP.

5/27 (.185) with RISP this season for Dunn.

Kershaw's having some trouble hitting the strike zone. And Dukes has a great eye, too.

Yeah, but incredibly, his BA/OBP/SLG/OPS with RISP is .192/.417/.538/.955 with 3 HRs and 13 RBIs. It is clear that he gets pitched around so much that he doesn't seen to be able to know what to do with a pitch he doesn't expect.

By comparison, RZ's OPS with RISP is .651 with 0 HRs and 8 RBIs.

This is the key to getting to Kershaw!  He is only good when he is rolling with the rhythm and batters are swinging at his out of the zone breaking stuff.  Our guys aren't doing that, which is a real good sign.

Hard to argue with those numbers.

well that was our sole chance to score off of Kershaw and take a lead.

get him early or don't get him at all. FAIL

Because this game definitely does not have 8 more innings.
