Well apparently Frank thinks it's just fine to play for your stats. In fact he encourages it

price to the Nationals, by padding his stats - which he has done ALL SEASON, by keeping him at leadoff - at the EXPENSE of winning games. Hey Frank, why not do it to
win - the Wild Card, or the World Series, or just one freaking game???? Good luck in retirement...
