So those Double-A Pirates that gave the Nats such a hard time? Currently getting no hit by the Diamondbacks in the 8th.
against Petit who has a 5.91 ERA

30 teams in major league baseball is the only reason the Nationals won't lose 120 this year.  Watered down talent is what saved us.

wow that ball must have had some serious spin, it looked like it was going to carry and then it just died.

That's the one part of fantasy that I hate.
I hate when I have a player or pitcher going against the Nats. Especially when it comes down to the last day and it's super close
hasn't happened to me too many times this year. although I would rather see the Nats win than my fantasy team (although now that we are 40 games under that might not be the case, especially if the playoffs are on the mound).

I am so happy to have Josh Johnson. I watched him pitch on MASN against the Nats in a ST game and he won me over. I was awed by his stuff so I made sure I drafted him.

Him along with my other aces (Lincecum, Halladay, Felix, Buehrle) have carried my team to the best record in the league.

it's not whining if i'm preaching the truth.

it's whining when you complain about the 2nd Baseman 40 thousand times a day.

yes, the 2nd basemen suck.  yes we could have signed Hudson.

but we didn't. and no amount of whining is going to make Hudson magically appear in a Nats Uniform during the 2009 season.

hopefully we'll get him, or another FA 2nd Baseman like DeRosa next year.

this discussion happens every game thread. and it always starts with you complaining about whoever is currently playing 2nd.

you are worse than AZ.  you care more about your Kliq than you do about nats wins.  you just want to see your sub .220 hitters do well.
