From my angle it looked like he was out.  Crappy crappy inning.

The replay showed him safe.

I guess the only thing that could have happened was Berny's top leg slid over the plate that we couldn't see?

No one argued the call at all.

Dibs said he got him in the "late leg" after the lead leg crossed the plate.

Pa-freaking-thetic. Makes me want to not watch any games. It has been so refreshing not to deal with all of this bullcrap this year while missing most of the games. I cannot stand stupid crap like this. Why does that umpire have a job?  He thinks he is the crap and people are at the game to see him make calls and show up the Nats. Cocky, arrogant, low-life bastard.

Leave, for life.

Replay would've easily remedied that.

With the number of high profile freak-ups by umps this year, I really don't know how much longer they can possibly stave off full implementation of instant replay.

Of course, it's MLB, so they'll probably stall way longer than any of us would think reasonable.

And it would take literally less than a minute for someone to see the replay a couple of times and signal to the umpire that he freaked up.

I want to hear what Riggs has to say about it.

Why not get tossed for being pissed off? Unless Riggs thought he was out as well.

He's at the game.

Still, what angle was he watching.  There was no way he was out, live or Memorex!

Let's not overlook the fact that Bernadina's failure to advance the runner cost us dearly in that inning. Don't let him off the hook.

It's disgraceful how opponent pitchers who are complete nobodies manage to keep outpitching STEPHEN FREAKING STRASBURG.

Don't forget about runners on the corners with no out, either :hang:

Why the hell does Kennedy swing at the first pitch?

I'm sure Desmond will as well.

Automatic out. This is so bad. Worst loss of the year?
