I hope we get pleasantly surprised and we score some runs with this ragtag lineup. I made a deal with someone that if we fall behind by 5 runs or more at any point during the game I would stop watching and go out drinking with her.

The name of the pitcher we're facing tonight may be what we're in for :?

I got an odd feeling that the Nats will score a lot tonight, just because we are nagging about how weak the lineup is.

LOL The way I figured, she'll be around anyway. Plus the game may not end too late. It would really suck if we don't score at all and it's one of those games we're bound to lose 3 - 0 anyway :?

The same thing occurred to me. I'm sort of hoping so.

I was at the game last year where he made his first career start in the Big Leagues and he smoked us (5 IP 1 H 0 ER). It was cold as crap that night too.

It was a Saturday night game and very, very cold. We lost 7-1. Our only run came in the 9th via a Church HR. We got swept by the D'backs in that series if I remember.

I'm reduced to just hoping we don't get no-hit.   :|

I was at the first game of that series and I thought I had been at the Saturday night game also which we lost 7-1 but I don't recall Owings pitching.
