ugh, I don't like the idea of SS pitching in this nasty ass humid weather. Hopefully he hydrated well and makes quick work out there. Riggleman should be quick to take him out if he starts to get hit hard or shows signs of exhaustion.

Actually, I thought the heat was getting to Lannan. He seemed to falter after a few innings. No scientific evidence, just a random idea.

Batters would be advised to swing early against SS.  It doesn't get better for them as the at-bat goes on.
