Drafted I believe in the 6th round from Vandy in 2011.  NFA Brian described him in a post after the 2011 draft as potential "back of the rotation (5th) starter".

In his last start (5/23), his line was 6 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 7 SO.  For the year, he's got an ERA of 3.40, and a WHIP of 1.23 (both are lowest among all Suns starters with 6 or more starts as of 5/24, including Meyer and Estevez).  Although he's not a strikeout pitcher, he has an almost 3:1 SO/BB ratio (only 8 BBs in 42.1 innings).  Only Karns, with 3 starts, has a lower ERA (2.59) and a lower WHIP. (1.15).
