I would think so.  Installer unlocked at 11.

By the way, the installer scrolls through some nice lore tidbits as you wait, and the music is insane.  Very well done, I might have to get the soundtrack at some point.

Only 4 now, not 8 like D2.  I can see where 8 would be too crowded based on things I saw in the beta.

I kinda wish they would have said "Banish them from the mortal relm..." until Diablo 4 instead of forever but I guess it makes the game more dramatic with the little white lie.

For people who are playing and bought the demo, is it more of the same or does it stand out from the Demo?

Reading some stuff as I wait for servers to go live in about 20 minutes, I see a blue post on the forums about the recent GAME fiasco.  Apparently there is a game store in Australia called GAME that went bankrupt recently.  They have already announced that anyone that had pre-ordered Diablo III from them won't get the game since they won't be stocking it and they won't be able to refund the amount the person has put toward the pre-order.  Boooooo!

But Blizzard has now come out with a program for the people freaked by GAME, you can pre-order and download and install the game from Blizzard at full price, play it right away, and submit your GAME pre-order receipt to Blizzard.  Blizz will refund the amount you paid to GAME to pre-order.  That's some awesome CS right there.

I remember error 37 from the beta. I suprised they kept that one. It doesn't seem like it would be the most popular of "features". ;)

Interesting. Not sure if I should go out and buy it later or just let it download while I do my take home test.

It downloaded in no time for me, not that it matters since I haven't been able to succcessfully get a game going all day and now Nathan tells me the servers are down for emergency maintenance.

I honestly don't understand how hard it is to prepare for this.  The math for # of boxed copies shipped + # of digital copies pre-ordered x (server resources needed per player) shouldn't be that insanely difficult.  Obviously everyone in the universe isn't going to sign on at the same time but if you assume that they do you should be more than prepared, and can then scale the hardware back as appropriate to save on costs.

This kind of stuff is becoming increasingly intolerable in the connection-required DRM age.

Was finally able to get in, was playing a wizard in a party, and a message came up that servers were going down AGAIN in 15 minutes.  We had SK down to 50% when we were booted. :'(

ETA 6:30 for them to be up again.  Epic fail, Blizzard.
