Has Bob Carpenter never been to Montgomery/PG County? :?

I have no idea what he meant by that 64 mph joke.

freak. Thought he was going to get out of this inning.

Don't take the rest of the day off offense!

Lets hope to God it doesn't now.

Nah, Livan threw his eephus and he said: "I'm not sure the speed limit in Maryland, but you wouldn't get pulled over for going that fast in DC or Virginia."  Nevermind that it's like ~35 throughout most of DC.

We are such easy outs.  It's much more difficult to have a big inning when the leadoff hitter is an easy out.

And MoCo is full of those damn cameras.

Yeah. The hidden ones are such bullcrap. I've been caught like 4 times in the past 2 years.

DC too.

The DC ones are for "blocking the box" right? - there are some in MoCo where they fluctuate the speed limit to trick you into getting caught.

DC has plenty of speed cameras.  It's a commuter tax.

I'm thinking of where there might be some and drawing a blank. I guess it's good that I know that now.

Stop speeding/running signs and lights and you won't get caught.

How about let the manager choose the guy he thinks would most help the team to win?

But, er, that would put Morse in the lineup, wouldn't it, Tom? Like your avatar.

My dad got two within 5 minutes once, circling the block around the Washington Hospital Center looking for a parking spot, running late for an appointment.  At 80, he's always running late.  Same camera, blew through it twice.

Here are locations.

But, he's had his chance to play this week, maybe another few at bats next week.    :?

We have to be in the Cliff Lee sweepstakes, this offseason.  A winning team's #2 should be a #1 on most other teams.
