I do love Charlie's dynamic range, but I prefer Dave's voice. On AtBat, I often can't hear Charlie.

pretty much.

Psh, after every big moment I pull up MLB.tv and do the following:

1. Watch and listen to the Charlie and Dave overlay of the call.
2. Watch and listen to the MASN overlay of the call. (Yuck)
3. Watch and listen to the other teams' overlay of the call. (Tends to suck, but then, they're not supposed to be super-excited)

Charlie's call of Zimmerman's walk-off grandslam last season still gives me chills.

And... ignore.
Pretty sure I never said it was.  Some of you all aren't that intelligent.  You sit on a thread asking for people's OPINIONS and you shred them if they don't agree with you.  Funny actually...  One would think you'd listen to all points/views but after reading your and mr. Oriole fan Hammonds, I see that isn't the case.   next time, if you don't want opposing views...dont make it a poll.  Brilliant.

I don't have the sound bite but here it is from MLB Highlights. About halfway through the video (the first half is Carp's call):

Forgive me if this is posted somewhere already, but does anyone have the Zim July 4 walkoff against the Marlins?  That is my all-time favorite with Charlie saying, "It is BEDLAM in our Nation's Capital..."  It used to be in the montage before the pregame show, but isn't this year.  I even said something to Slowes about it at the Picnic in the Park, pleading for it to return.

Yes, 2006, you got it.  Should have put that in the original post.

Dave's indignation at the scorekeeper in the top of the 9th tonight and the exchange that followed was pretty funny.
