they deserved to lose. Livo pitched well, but squandering opportunities, and giving away leadoff walks is asking to lose.

Odd. Riggleman is pissed with Drew for walking a batter but he's fine with Burnett walking Ronnie because it looked like a good pitch.

I'd trust both Peralta and Storen over Burnett.

The Nats have now gone 30 innings, and counting, without scoring a run by means of other than a home run...the last such run came with Dunn's RBI single in the 7th this past Wednesday.

1-8 record in extra innings, I think three wins coming from behind all year in the ninth, terrible job with RISP, plenty of large leads given up. We have a couple mentally tough guys in Zimmerman and Willie Harris, but otherwise a very mentally weak team.
