The top third of our lineup is 1 for 6.  The top third of their lineup is 3 for 6 with a three-run blast.

i'd almost rather abreu hit that HR than like a double. if he was on second, he would have scored after burrel or howard hit something. who knows how long it would have gone on from there. with the HR its just time to shake it off and refocus

That might have been the worst consecutive three at-bats one of our pitchers have had this year!

this guy is nagging us around.  before scheider made contact and flew out, he might as well have been swinging with his eyes closed when beasley yelled "Now!"

Well, that's a quality start for Armas; 6ip 3er.  He just had 1 bad inning

Now that run that Nick didn't score looks a whole lot bigger. At 3-1, all we'd need is a hit and the tying run would be at the plate.

what a quick inning, especially since it was our 3,4,5 hitters.. what a joke

That was probably the game right there.  Seven pitches to our 3-4-5 hitters and three outs.  :x

How must it feel to be a pitcher and know that you almost have to throw a no-hitter in order to have a chance to win?

That's the most hillarious thing I've heard all night..
We probably won't get a baserunner the rest of the game

Why is Armas still in?  His pitch count is 113!!!  What do you expect?
