So let's see.  Davey uses Burnett, Clippard and Storen (plus Mattheus). That completely defeats the purpose of letting Zimmermann pitch in the 7th.

This is on Davey, 100%.

Our bullpen has been really bad in the second half of the season. They were pretty incredible in April/May/June but not worth a damn since then. Clip, Burnett, Stammen, etc have all struggled.

If Davey hadn't let Zimmermann try to pitch in the 7th, it would still have been a multiple run lead.  The bullpen gave up one run.
