The space shuttle will not fly, no replacement is being produced. The space program is NOT over.

Like I said, its done. No new human launch capabile vehicles are even being planned. As I said earlier, the killing blow is they announced about two months renting out half of Kennedy to private sector, trying to at least. That was the final blow, because that means they have zero plans to get back into it.

As PA said, we will still do non-human stuff. But even that is shoe-string now, one Cassini mission a decade right now.
