Phillies Fans
« Topic Start: April 02, 2012, 02:32:51 PM »
:lmao:

Some mouth-breathing, knuckle scraper of a Philthies fan just called into MLB Network radio and compared Ubaldo Jimenez to John Lannan.  He said that because of Lannan "throwing at Chase Utley for no reason" he should never throw another pitch in the Majors again.

What a freaking dope.

Hit Tulo yesterday, tried to fight him... but the clubs got in the way.

Minty, what was the response of the host?

Apparently he threw high-and-tight to Troy Tulowitzki last night and hit him hard in the wrist.  Apparently the incident was a result of Tulo saying that Ubaldo should stop complaining about being traded from the Rockies.

There was definite intent and Jim Tracy said something to the effect of "it was the worst thing I've seen in baseball in my 35 years."

JimBo chuffed it off and said the two aren't even the same situation and Casey Stern asked him, "well, you are a Phillies fan, right?"

Both hosts essentially punk'd the caller.

Tulowitzki is a secret plant of the KGB.

He is so secret, he is still working for the Soviet Union.

You only think it collapsed.

It never collapsed in . . . KENYA!!!

Tulo showed remarkable restraint there considering the circumstances.  Ubaldo on the other hand...

Exactly.  Tulo doesn't charge the mound but Jimenez charges the plate and gestures to start fighting.

What a chump.

Isn't this the point?  Had Ubaldo wanted to mess him up, he'd have hit the other hand, too.  Tulo still has a working hand.  Rub some dirt on it and get back out there.

Based on that video, it does look like Ubaldo was more than "ready to go" very quickly after throwing that pitch. He wasted no time throwing his gear away and quickly walking towards Tulowitzki in no time at all. You can't help but feel like there was something behind it no doubt. It's a ST game for crying out loud.
